Welcome to Japan Martial Arts Center, accredited by Shuko-kai International, United States of America National Karate-do Federation, and the Japan Karate Federation. Here at JMAC we offer a four distinct martial arts programs: Karate-do (shito-ryu), Ju-jitsu (kempo aiki ju jitsu), Iai-do (eishin-ryu) and Judo (kodokan). 

Mission statement:

Our program is designed to treat all students as individuals targeting their specific strengths and weaknesses. We will guide every student to develop their maximum potential, our ideology is achievement.

Congratulations to all!

The following athletes made the Jr. USA National Team:  Jordan Valle, Andrew Watson, Ken Wada (alternate).  They will be traveling to Montreal, Canada for the Jr. Pan American Championships.

Sempai Diego made the Sr. National team pool for Kata

Sempai Sean Ascani takes bronze in intermediate kata

Sempai Charles finishes 4th in elite kumite team trials

Sempai Jordan finishes 4th in elite kumite team trials

Sempai Ken (ojii-chan) 3rd in elite kumite team trials

After a grueling day of kata competition, Shukokai International takes three medals.  Sempai Andrew and Diego meet in the semi-finals, and battle it out for the finals.  Here are the results:

Sempai Diego Wins Gold in Open Kata and is now the 2010 USA National Champion

Sempai Andrew Wins Bronze in Open Kata

Sempai Ken (Ojii-chan) Wins Bronze in 12year old Open Kata

  • JMAC would like to welcome back Sempai Tanya Baeza, Tania Molina, and Francia Armenta from the 19th WKF World Championships.  It was a tough road to travel;  a result of hard work and a life changing experience.  After a tough four days of competition Team USA Finished in 8th place in the world with a gold medal performance from George Kotaka and a silver medal performance from Elisa Au.   • Pick up a copy of the Fountain Valley View and read the article on JMAC.  I'd like to thank Fountain Valley View for featuring our program. 
  • All of us at JMAC hopes that everyone had great NEW YEARS.  A reflection of 2007 we at JMAC would like to acknowledge some of the students for their diligent study of the martial arts and in school.  2007 worked out to be a great year for us.
  • 2007 Jr. Olympics we took home 8 medals, USA Nationals 12 medals, 5 new national champions 4 qualified for the Jr. and Senior Naitonal Narate Team, Sempai Tanya places 4th at Austria Open, Summer Martial Arts camp wow's the community (karate, ju-jitsu/judo, iai-do, and cultural activities), Abdula Khalid takes JMAC Kata Challenge and Sempai Charles Watson Takes JMAC Kumite Challenge, Sempai Brian Tang takes bronze in Jr. Pan-americans in Ecuador, Leroy Parlade takes a trip to Washington DC to partcipate in the model united nations. 
  • In addition to the great athletic achievements, our JMAC competition team holds a combined GPA of 3.7.   We hope to see everyone back and training for their New Year's resolution.   
  • We would like to say thank you for all your support.  We look forward to see what's in store for 2008.
